A timeline of key milestones that have shaped EUIMSA into what it is today.
EUIMSA was officially established following the inauguration of the College of Medicine at Edo University Iyamho. A founding executive council was elected to lay the groundwork for the association's structure and goals.
EUIMSA organized its first Health Week — a landmark event bringing together students, faculty, and the local community for health awareness campaigns, screenings, and academic competitions.
The association expanded its committee structure to include academic, welfare, press, and social committees — enabling more focused and effective service delivery to its members.
EUIMSA launched its first community outreach programme, providing free medical consultations and health education to underserved communities around Iyamho and its environs.
Recognizing the need for a stronger digital presence, EUIMSA partnered with Build2rank & Huddles Technologies to develop a comprehensive digital platform — including a public website and a secure member portal — to serve current students, alumni, and the wider public.
Today, EUIMSA stands as a model student medical association in Nigeria — known for its academic rigour, community service, and the quality of its members. The association continues to build on its legacy with each new set of students.
